Last updated on Wednesday, April 18, 2007

(UNDATED) - Indiana State Department of Agriculture director Andy Miller is saying the state is working with members of the U.S. Department of Agriculture to determine just how much of the state’s fruit crop has been damaged by the recent cold weather.

Miller says U.S.D.A. field offices are trying to document and quantify the losses to the peach and apple crops.
