(INDIANAPOLIS) - Marion County conducted its required public test of its voting machines Thursday. The test took about four hours.
All counties must run a test by April 24 to make sure their vote tabulators are recording totals correctly.
Marion County Clerk Beth White says officials are checking to make sure the machines properly recognize the more than 100 different ballots required by the different combinations of council districts and cities like Lawrence with their own mayors.
