(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indianapolis Zoo is designing a massive exhibit leaders hope will bring Hoosiers in close contact with chimps and other primates.
Gorillas, chimpanzees and bonobos are coming to the Indianapolis Zoo by 2013, in what will be the zoo's biggest and most expensive exhibit ever.
A design team, including a Hollywood movie producer and a scientist who studies primates, is four months into a project that zoo managers hope will bring Hoosiers into close contact with the endangered species.
