(LAKE STATION) - Authorities rescued 36 dogs and cats from a Lake Station home after neighbors complained about the stench.
Animal control officials discovered the animals confined in cages with little food and water. They were malnourished and the house covered in animal feces.
The owner of the house has yet to be located by authorities.
