(CRAWFORDSVILLE) - Montgomery County authorities are looking for a man convicted Monday of criminal recklessness.
Jeremy Bartlett ran from the courthouse after judge Thomas Milligan refused a request to let Bartlett serve his penance outside of prison.
Bartlett admits he was drunk when he held a knife on a semi driver in a restaurant bathroom last year. A deal with prosecutors dropped charges of battery and battery with a deadly weapon in exchange for Bartlett's plea.
Bartlett was able to leave because no bailiff was present to take him into custody following his conviction.
