(MADISON) - A man scheduled to be part of the Madison High School class of 1945 has finally received his diploma.
Clyde Bickers never completed school because he elected to serve in World War Two with many of his classmates.
The Madison Consolidated School Corporation awarded Bickers a diploma under a state law saying world War Two veterans who never received degrees because they chose to be veterans should be made academically whole.
