(UNDATED) - It’s been a year since computer glitches caused long lines at license branches and locked out police departments from checking the status of driver licenses.
Bureau of Motor Vehicles Commissioner Ron Stiver says there are still about 2,500 computer glitches that need to be corrected so the system will operate to its full potential.
The problems started when the state decided to consolidate three data bases because programs in those computers were obsolete.
