(UNDATED) - Two more Indiana communities are mulling possible bans on public smoking.
In Elkhart, the city council plans to hold a public hearing on a proposed smoking ban tonight. The council could then vote on the ban as early as Wednesday.
Meanwhile, a public hearing has been set for Wednesday night at the Jay County Courthouse to discuss a possible smoking ban.
County Commissioner Jay Miller, Jr. says the meeting is an information gathering session and that no decision on a ban will be made.
The cities of Fort Wayne and Goshen have already banned smoking in almost all public places.
