(UNDATED) - About 10,000 Indiana customers will get $5-million in refunds from a national settlement with Ameriquest.
The nation's largest lender to people with damaged credit will refund almost $325-million in damages to more than 481,000 customers throughout the United States.
The attorney generals for 49 states brought charges against the company for predatory lending, and the damages were part of a negotiated settlement.
Indiana Attorney General Steve Carter says eligible Hoosiers will begin receiving rebate forms in the mail through the settlement administrator.
