(GREENFIELD) - The postman accused of leaving his truck full of mail in Greenfield and canoeing to Columbus is out and on home detention.
Officials with the U.S. Attorney's Office say John Jordan has to wear an electronic monitoring bracelet for now. Jordan was picked up in Columbus after disappearing for several days.
The case is expected to go to a grand jury within the next month. The complaint against Jordan includes a charge of failing to deliver the mail.
If convicted, he faces 5 years in prison and a $250,000 dollar fine.
