(UNDATED) - Burglars hit gleaners food bank over the weekend, stealing copper lines from a big refrigerator.
The thieves cut the lines, which caused the cooling unit to fail, spoiling more than 25-hundred pounds of food.
Gleaners President and CEO Pam Altmeyer says the thieves were captured on camera.
She says the food bank still has adequate supplies for those who need it, but says they're also accepting donations to replace the spoiled food. The food bank is asking the public for helping in watching for copper thieves.
This marks the third time in two months that Gleaners has been hit by metal thieves.
