(UNDATED) - Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels tells Inside Indiana Business that there will be a solution to the property tax crisis facing the state.
In an interview today, the governor was asked about the possibility of a special session. "Odds are that there will," Daniels says.
Daniels says if he thinks a special session is what's necessary to bring relief to people, we're going to have one.
Daniels says the best way to have a special session is to have a general agreement about an exact solution. "But, it's not for the legislators to decide. The governor gets to decide if there's a special session or not."
Daniels says he's offered a plan to deal with the property tax crisis and is encouraging others to do the same.
