(INDIANAPOLIS) - This year’s Indiana State Fair is not bringing in as many people as in years past.
Last year the first Saturday saw more than 100,000 people. This year just over 80,000 were there. Indiana State Fair spokesman Andy Klotz says considering the heat, it's been really good. Other in attendance say gasoline prices may be a factor in the low numbers.
Despite the drop attendance has been steady for the first few days. The Indiana State Fair runs through Sunday, August 19th.
