(INDIANAPOLIS) - It’s D-Day for property owners in Marion County.
Today is the due date for the spring installment. Homeowners are simply being asked to pay what they did last year.
Anyone who misses today's deadline will face late penalties.
The tax bills went out in the mail back in early July, provoking protests, real estate signs that said, "for sale due to unfair taxation," and even a big tea party, where angry residents threw their tax bills into the downtown canal.
