(BEECH GROVE) - The Amtrak repair yard in Beech Grove is used to loud noise—train whistles and loud locomotive engines, but the yard rattled Tuesday to the percussion of explosives—explosives purposely set off by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
FBI Assistant Special Agent In Charge Danny Barkley says the theme for the training was to emphasize the public-private partnerships that are needed in preventing future acts of terrorism.
Those who participated in the explosives and WMD awareness training watched as teams detonated TNT, low power explosives, high power explosives, even improvised high explosives such as the poor man's C-4.
