(UNDATED) - Sales of existing homes fell in 41 states in the second quarter, but the National Association of Realtors says Indiana is bucking the nationwide trend.
Indiana was among only six states that saw an increase in existing home sales in the quarter. The organization says the Gary-Hammond area also saw the second strongest metro price increase in the Midwest.
An analysis of all available data over the past six years shows almost every market experienced price gains from the second quarter of 2001 to the second quarter of this year.
