(KOKOMO) - There’s new security at the Howard County courthouse.
Beginning Monday, visitors to the courthouse were required to pass through a security checkpoint that included metal detectors, an x-ray machine and security officers.
Howard County received a grant from the Indiana Department of Homeland Security last year to purchase the new security equipment.
