(INDIANAPOLIS) - There’s been a delay in the sentencing for a mother whose three-year-old son was found running down an Indianapolis interstate last year.
Nancy Dyer pleaded guilty last month to felony child neglect, but prosecutors asked for a continuance in the sentencing, saying they recently learned of some convictions dyer had in Florida.
Dyer's son was found on I-465 on the northwest side. Police traced the boy to a nearby apartment complex, where they found his two-year old sister eating food out of the garbage, while Dyer slept in the bedroom.
