(ANDERSON) - The mother of an Anderson kindergarten student says her son has been suspended from school transportation for two weeks after he hid from a bus driver.
The five-year-old's mother, Natasha Pulley, says her son's punishment is too severe.
The boy failed to get off the bus at Erskine Elementary School on August 29th. The bus driver discovered him after hearing him giggle.
Superintendent Mikella Lowe says the school system conducted a thorough investigation and re-enacted the incident with the five-year-old to determined what happened.
