(INDIANAPOLIS) - An Indianapolis couple who fled Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina have pleaded guilty in connection with the death of their baby son.
Michael Sumner Jr. and Rasheeda Williams cut a deal with prosecutors just before closing arguments in their trial.
The agreement would give Sumner 20 years in prison for slamming four-month-old Michael III into a wall.
Williams would receive two years' probation for not getting her injured son to a doctor.
