(CROWN POINT) - The Westfield man who crashed into a parked steamroller on a Lake County exit ramp - killing his two friends - was sentenced to two 4-year sentences Friday.
20-year-old Nicholas Gaunt was driving drunk back in 2004 when the accident happened. He was 17-years-old at the time.
As he was led away from court Friday, Gaunt tearfully said that if he could snap his fingers and switch places with the crash victims he would.
Gaunt's sentences will be served consecutively - with a year suspended and to be served on probation.
