Fort Wayne Soldier Dies In Iraq

(FORT WAYNE) - A Fort Wayne area soldier has died in Iraq.

The Defense Department says 22-year old Army Corporal Ryan Woodward died Saturday in near Baghdad.

Woodward was with members of his 82nd Airborne Division Squadron, when the unit was attacked by insurgents.

He is a graduate of Carroll High School.
