(GREENFIELD) - Authorities are investigating an apparent murder-suicide in Greenfield.
A 79-year-old man called 911 and told police he shot his wife. Greenfield police got to the home and found Robert Rouse and his 80-year-old wife, Edith, both dead from gunshot wounds to the head.
Greenfield Lieutenant Brian Guinn says family members told investigators Rouse may've shot his wife because she was suffering from Alzheimer's.
