Prisoner Attacks Wife During Visit

(PENDLETON) - An inmate at Pendleton’s Industrial Correctional Facility is accused of trying to choke his wife during a visit.

Authorities say 31-year-old Jesse Johnson accused his wife of cheating on him and was angered that she didn't bring money he needed to repay a debt.

Johnson allegedly wrapped on his arms around her neck and began choking her while she held the couple's baby.

Prison guards had to use pepper spray to get Johnson to release his wife.
