(BRAZIL, IN) - State police say at least three gunshots were fired last week at a Western Indiana Elementary School.
One of the bullets went through a cafeteria window at Van Buren Elementary School near Brazil in an apparent drive-by shooting Thursday, injuring a custodian whose eye was hit by flying glass.
Investigators believe the building was struck three to five times, with evidence being analyzed at the Indiana State Police Crime Laboratory.
State police and Clay County sheriff's detectives have investigated several black vans similar to one seen driving away from the school, but have not linked any of them to the shooting.
