(INDIANAPOLIS) - 17 years after the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles severed its connection with the AAA Hoosier Motor Club, an Indianapolis AAA office will offer titling and registration services again.
More AAA offices are scheduled to follow, and eventually, all 20 offices across Indiana will offer titling and registration. Issuing of drivers' licenses and state ID's will come later, after ID issues with Homeland Security have been worked out.
The Bureau pulled out of AAA after questions were raised about offering service only to AAA members. Now everyone will be able to use the offices, but non-members will pay an extra five dollars.
