(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indiana Supreme Court will decide whether arrests made by the new Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department are invalid.
A Marion County judge threw out a DUI case earlier this year, ruling officers should have been sworn in again when the sheriff's department merged with the old IPD.
The supreme court has agreed to let prosecutors bypass the Indiana Court of Appeals and take their case straight to the top.
