(ANDERSON) - An old bridge in Madison County that has been closed for several years will be taken down, restored and reused somewhere else.
The Anderson Board of Public Works has worked out an agreement with the Federal Highway Administration to rehabilitate the bridge that runs along a county road over Killbuck Creek.
The highway administration will pay to dismantle and store the span. The city will pay for the bridge's restoration and relocation.
