(INDIANAPOLIS) - It was like a scene out of an action movie Friday morning on Indianapolis’ north side.
Holy Angels Church has a huge hole in one wall after a suspect drove his car into the side of the building.
It began when metro police tried to stop a Ford Thunderbird for having expired plates. The driver took off and the pursuit began.
Police tailed the car as the driver spun out in a yard. The chase ended when the car flew into the church wall and burst into flames.
Twenty-six year old Jowan Easton was tazed twice. He is now in Wishard Hospital and facing numerous charges.
Police also found crack cocaine inside the car.
