(MUNCIE) - Three students and an adult counselor at a Muncie boarding school for the academically gifted face charges in connection with a birthday prank.
Police say the students and adult counselor from the Indiana Academy For Science, Mathematics and Humanities engineered a fake public kidnapping of a student who was turning 16.
The prank resulted in numerous calls to 9-1-1 and a guns-drawn response by police officers responding to reports that men in ski masks had pulled a teenager into a vehicle and sped away.
