(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - A Muncie man has pled guilty in federal court to conspiring to violate the civil rights of a woman and her 3 bi-racial children by burning a cross in her front yard.
Kyle Shroyer pled guilty to the charges on Thursday, according to FBI officials, after he admitted to erecting an 8-foot wooden cross in front of the victim's house, dousing it with gas and setting it ablaze in March of 2006, with another person, referred to only as a "known co-conspirator."
