(ELWOOD) - A Jonesboro couple have been charged with embezzling 700-thousand dollars from an Elwood manufacturer.
Modern Die System Secretary Melissa Hazelwood is charged with altering hundreds of checks to make them payable to herself, and running up thousands of dollars in charges on the company credit card.
Her husband mark is charged with theft and conspiracy to commit forgery and theft.
