(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Marion County prosecutor’s office has filed battery charges against a lab technician accused of biting a 3-year-old boy.
Anne McGlorthon allegedly bit Victor Buntin on September 21st while he as a patient at St. Vincent Hospital. He was being tested for lead contamination as a result of the recent toy recall and was having blood drawn.
Investigators say McGlorthon told them the boy was flailing about and bit her on the forearm and she bit him in the shoulder area to get him to let go of her arm.
A conviction carries a penalty of 6 months to 3 years in prison.
Arrangements were being made for the woman to surrender.
