(UNDATED) - Indiana, and three other states could one day see truck-only lanes.
That's because the government is giving Indiana, Missouri and Illinois 3-million dollars to study whether to add highway lanes specifically for big rigs on Interstate-70. Truck traffic on I70 accounts for 25 percent of the traffic on the highway.
The proposal could clear the way for two truck lanes in each direction of I-70 - running from Kansas City, Missouri to the Ohio-West Virginia border.
