(CORYDON) - A 90-year-old bridge in Southern Indiana has been closed because of safety concerns.
The Lickford Bridge in Harrison County was OK'd for traffic after an inspection 18 months ago, but it was closed after another inspection earlier this month.
A project manager with the inspection company says it's not uncommon for truss bridges to show accelerated corrosion from one year to the next.
The bridge spans Indian Creek near Corydon.
