(BLOOMINGTON) - The Chinese ambassador to the United States has cancelled a lecture he had scheduled in Indianapolis this coming Thursday.
Ambassador Zhou Wenzhong was invited by the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, Center for International Business Education and Research, and Columbus diesel maker Cummins, Incorporated, to address a public crowd in Indianapolis.
The reason for the cancellation is apparently a high-level Chinese government contingent is scheduled to visit America this week, however, Ambassador Zhou hopes to reschedule his Circle City visit within a year.
