(INDIANAPOLIS) - The editor of The Indianapolis Star is publicly apologizing for racially offensive comments posted by a former editorial writer on one of the newspaper’s online blogs.
Rishawn Biddle's posting on the online discussion board criticized city-County Council President Monroe Gray. Both Biddle and Gray are black.
The blog referred to Gray and other Indianapolis Democrats using language that the Star's editor and city officials called offensive.
The posting has since been removed from the site.
