(EAST CHICAGO) - A retired steelworker from East Chicago has claimed the 54.5 million dollar Hoosier Lottery jackpot.
62-year-old Peter Gilbert used the ages of his grandchildren and pitbull Caeser to choose the winning numbers, the same digits he's used for years.
He took the cash option of 40.4 million before taxes.
