(LAFAYETTE) - A Tippecanoe County judge is expressing concerns about a state-run juvenile correction facility in Indy.
Judge Lorette Rush says she tries to avoid sending kids to the Indianapolis Juvenile Correction Facility unless the crime is serious. That center was recently accused of lacking services and staff.
A St. Joseph County judge has already said he won't send female offenders there because he doesn't think it is safe.
Governor Mitch Daniels is looking into their concerns.
