(UNDATED) - With just days until Christmas, the Salvation Army is relying on the generosity of Central Indiana residents to help the organization meet its 2007 Tree of Lights goal of 2.75 million.
Currently, through its traditional red kettle campaign, the Salvation Army of Central Indiana has raised a little more than 1.7 million, which is only 62-percent of its goal.
With the money raised last year, the Salvation Army was able to help more than 24-thousand people in need in the Central Indiana area.
