(FORT WAYNE) - Residents in parts of Allen County now have a new set of snow emergency warnings.
County commissioners adopted a new set of rules based on recommendations from the Indiana Department of Homeland Security.
The county's ordinance now says that anyone caught out during a Level I snow emergency would be charged with a Class B misdemeanor. In the past, drivers had simply received a ticket.
