(LAPORTE) - A 16-year-old Kingsgford Heights boy went to jail Thursday for allegedly dealing prescription drugs at LaPorte high school.
The teen allegedly sold the drug Concerta to five students -- receiving a total of 11-dollars. Concerta is a stimulant used to treat kids with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
Police say the sales took place off school grounds when the student got off the bus.
The boy faces a class b felony. School officials say he will not return to LaPorte High School.
