Authorities Seek Death Penalty For Man Accused For Killing Family

(CROWN POINT) - The Lake County prosecutor plans to seek the death penalty against a man accused of murdering his wife and two stepchildren.

42-year-old Kevin Isom is charged in the deaths of his wife, 40-year-old Cassandra Isom, and her two teen-age children last August.

Authorities allege Isom killed his family after his wife threatened to leave him because he was not working and she was paying all the bills.
