(INDIANAPOLIS) - It’s time to take another shot at the biggest game in professional sports.
Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard is expected to announce plans for the pitch for the 2012 Super Bowl sometime next week.
Bob Schultz with the Indianapolis Convention and Visitors Association says they are pumped to make a second go of it. Last year, Indianapolis went after the 2011 game. The city came in second behind Dallas.
But, NFL owners had very positive feedback for the pitch and encouraged officials to try again.
Mark miles, who headed up the 1987 Pan American Games steering committee, is expected to be named as the leader of the group making the pitch.
