(SOUTH BEND) - Emergency crews rushed to the scene early Sunday after a car went into a creek after hitting a deer, landing in the water.
It happened about 4:40am when a vehicle was reported in the water on Douglas Road in St. Joseph County.
At least two people were injured in the accident, county authorities said. There was no word on how serious the victims' injuries were, but at least one of the patients--believed to be a male-- was being flown to the hospital because of his condition.
