(CARMEL) - The Carmel mayor is challenging Central Indiana to get fit for 2008.
Mayor Jim Brainard, along with representatives from Clarian North Hospital, kicked off the 2008 "Mayor's Wellness Challenge" Monday.
The program allows teams to sign up on the web and attend a 12-week program, getting points for attending wellness classes at Clarian and various exercise classes.
Jonathan Goble with Clarian says there are prizes for the top teams.
Registration for health assessments runs through Thursday. The program wraps up March 28th and is open to anyone across Indiana who wants to put a team together.
You can register at www.carmelmayorswellnesschallenge.com.
