Former Prison Guard To Serve Time Behind Bars

(NEW CASTLE)- A former New Castle prison guard who traveled from New Castle to Lafayette to have sex with a teenaged girl, will spend the next 14 years in prison.

25-year-old Justin Hicks didn't know he had been chatting with a detective online when he arranged his sex trip. After police busted him, they also found child pornography on his home computer.

Along with his prison sentence for online solicitation, Hicks will serve a year on community corrections, five years on supervised probation and 20 years on unsupervised probation.
