(SHELBYVILLE) - Thousands of Girl Scouts across Central Indiana have started taking orders for Girl Scout cookies, including hundreds of scouts in Shelby County.
Production is underway at Little Brownie Bakers in Louisville and includes two new selections this year. One is a sugar-free version of the classic chocolate chip Girl Scout cookie. The other marks the return of the "chalet creme" cookie. It features a new recipe that includes a hint of ginger and cinnamon with a lemon creme filling.
Cookie delivery to customers starts on February 12th.
