(MARION) - Developers may turn Marion’s historic Grant County Jail into upscale apartments if they can generate sufficient interest in the project at an open house.
Owners Greg Kitts and Ed and Lisa Blinn say they want to renovate the 1904 structure to cater to upscale tenants. They've also considered converting the building into a veteran's home or a complex with extended-stay rooms for business travelers.
They purchased the building in October for $145,000.
