(INDIANAPOLIS) - Marion County’s law enforcement agencies opened new satellite offices in the apartment complex where a three year old girl was brutally killed.
Police and the prosecutor's office will man two offices in the Phoenix Apartment complex on the city's east side.
Police opened their office in a vacant apartment and the prosecutor will operate a mobile unit in the complex's parking lot.
Officers will be able to complete reports and even file charges at the complex. Officers will man the office in two hour shifts, seven days a week.
Three year old TaJanay Bailey died shortly after Thanksgiving. The two people charged in her death are her mother, and mother's boyfriend.
